The lesson 2 of Sinsago textbook is related to keeping a pet. I used this video to gather students' more attention in the first class. Especially before showing this to students, I wrote down some questions about this video. For example, "What's the name of this parrot?" " What animal sounds can this parrot mimic?" and so on. I found my students paid more interest and easily guessed what's going on. I think using video with this pre-listening activity is more effective for young learners.
